Can I get a same-day marriage if my passport is expiring in less than 30 days?
Technically, you can book an express wedding ceremony for as long as your passport is valid on the day of marriage. However, if you’re traveling to the U.S. for a destination wedding, your passport should have at least six months of validity. We can provide fast-tracked passport renewal if you need to renew your passport before the express wedding.
What ID is accepted for marriage in California?
For the same-day wedding ceremony, you need to present at least 1 valid government ID, such as a driver’s license from any state, state identification card, passport, military card, and other government-issued IDs. Make sure the ID has your full name, photo, date of birth, and signature.
